It has been a while since I last posted on here. I was doing really well keeping it updated and then real life happens and before you know it, February turns to March, March to April and then it’s nearly June and you’ve not updated.

Since I last posted things have changed quite a bit really. I’m back at work after a period of absence which has really helped me get back into the routine of normal life. I also feel like instead of floating through the days with minimal purpose, I at least have something to focus on and keep me going. I’ve continued to visit the gym (I’ve made exercise part of my routine and I actually miss it now when I don’t do it). I’m happy: it’s been a long time coming but I am in a position to say that I’m feeling positive about life and where things are going. The biggest change for me though is diet. I’m eating breakfast consistently, eating decent healthy meals daily…it’s been a huge change! I have joined a ‘6 week challenge’ group and the support these guys offer, the nutritional advice, the general ‘How’s it going?” messages, it’s been what I’ve missed on previous attempts at weight loss.

I’ll do a proper blog post soon discussing one or two things (not just jumping on the band wagon here but mental health is something I’d like to have a bit of a natter about given the past 12/18 months of my life) but I just wanted to post on here to say that the bear isn’t dead, he’s not gone missing, he’s just been hibernating….but it’s time for him to wake up and get back into the forest!
