I haven’t posted on here for a while but that doesn’t mean that I have given up….far from it in fact! I’ve had a really positive week at the gym. I’ve been everyday, I’ve tracked my calorie burn on my Apple Watch and I’m really enjoying getting back into the swing of it.
As well as working at the gym, I’ve got back into working out at home. I’ve been cycling everyday and using my barbell and dumbbell to try and give me some extra moves to throw in to my workouts. As I’ve said all along, I haven’t weighed myself nor do I intend to, but I am certainly feeling fitter and stronger than I have done in a while. It’s amazing how different a few workouts and eating less rubbish can make you feel. I really hope that this time I can maintain my progress and get back to where I want to be. I know Rome wasn’t built in a day, I fully understand that, but I think that just over a month back into my regime, we’ve certainly begun to put down the foundations. The gym was quite busy yesterday and it was great to see Word Cancer Day being supported by all of the gym goers.
