Approaching the end of my first week back at the gym and I have to say I’m enjoying it so far. I have been working through the first week of the LDNM Cutting Guide and it’s going pretty well. I made the decision at the start to not weigh myself. In the past I have become slightly obsessed with the numbers and have felt let down when they haven’t dropped as quickly as I would have liked so this time I’m going on how I feel and the fit of my clothing. Speaking of clothing, I had a strange run in at the gym today. I was wearing a Robocop OCP t-shirt. Mid-exercise bike stint, a young lad approached me with his mobile in his hand. He tapped me on the back and showed me his screen, it read:
“YOU HAVE 20 SECONDS TO COMPLY”
At this point I was marginally alarmed. I thought that he was either making a joke OR that he was some sort of gym-based terrorist and he was wanting to hold me hostage. Turns out, of course, that it was just a reference to my Robocop t-shirt and he wasn’t trying to force me into anything untoward.
