After deciding to start doing this blog AGAIN and go to the gym AGAIN, I thought it best to actually post regularly. It’s nearly been a week since I made my grand return to watching what I eat and exercising more and I have to admit, I feel a little better about things.
Eating
I can’t claim that I’m eating 100% perfectly – that would be a complete lie. I can say though, that I’m eating a better range of foods than I was. I’m eating regular breakfasts again, a small lunch and then something decent for tea. I’m not calorie counting or working out macros, but I’m not over indulging on rubbish.
Gym
I’ve been to the gym everyday and tried to vary up my routines. I’ve done some cardio: either cycling or treadmill work and I’ve incorporated some weight training into my routines too. I know that people recommend deadlifts but I’ve got a back thats weaker than Tiny Tim so they’re out of the question (for now).
All in all, I’ve enjoyed making my return to the world of ‘trying to get fitter’. I don’t claim to be good at this sort of stuff, in fact I have very VERY little knowledge about any of it, but I’m trying.
