February 3rd 2015 seems a long, LONG time ago! Can’t quite believe that was the last time we posted on here. Well, I can confirm that we’re back and will be making regular updates again.
After going it alone for a bit last year, I (Jordan) damaged my ankle and basically gave up on it all. My weight ballooned (I was big already but just got bigger) and to be fair, I became a bit of a mess. Those around me were positive and nice, but I think I needed a bit of tough love and someone to say, “You’re big, sort it out!”
At the turn of the year I weighed in at 18st 3lb.
I spent January – March eating a little bit less, getting on my exercise bike a bit but still wasn’t confident or sure what was going on. I lost a little bit of weight gradually and made it (somehow) to 16st 3lb. I messaged a local lad that I’d met through having a beard and that’s when the journey really began for me! I worked with Pat Quinn, a brilliant Barrow based personal trainer, from April 2016 and lost 3 stone under his guidance and this is where we pick up the journey.
I’m not 18stone anymore, thats a huge positive, I’m hovering around 13st 8lb and 14st (it fluctuates dependent on how good I’m being) but I’m back on the wagon now and have targets set of being in the 12st bracket by Christmas.
