 2015 Starting weight: 268lbs

 Today’s weight:       265lbs

 Loss:                          3lbs

So, tis my first weigh in of the “new start” and I’ve managed to drop 3lbs. It’s a slower start that I had hoped for but the numbers are heading in the right direction so can’t complain too much. I have managed to sort out the eating side of things, but I struggled to motivate myself to do much exercise. I have my calorie intake down to around 1500-1800 a day, with maybe one day straying over 2000 every now & then. Diet mainly consists meal replacement shakes for breakfast & lunch, with meat & veg for dinner. Snacks mainly consist of fruit & cereal bars.

What I need to kick-start is getting out and getting active. I find it hard to motivate myself which is why I tagged along to a spinning class last week with a work colleague. Now spinning isn’t something I would normally consider but it was actually not as heart attack inducing as I thought/feared it would be…I’m even going back again this week! I also have an evening of wrestling training and a badminton session to squeeze in so I am hoping these will lead to a bigger loss at next weigh in. I want to be 260lbs or lower, and will probably be very annoyed with myself if I am not.

I’m pleased to see that Jordan is also back at it and recording losses. Here’s hoping we can recreate the magic of 2013…and keep it going this time too.
