Well its not massive but I’m delighted to be chipping again. I would have like a little more than this, given that I hammered the gym last week but if I can lose 2lbs a week then by my graduation in July I’ll have dropped another 40lbs: and that would take me to 15st(ish) so if I can take that target and work with that, I’ll be happy as a mongoose on unicycle.
Plenty of gym work done last week, even if I could only manage 45mins I still tried to get some exercise done everyday. This week will also see me return to in-ring action, as wrestling starts again. I have a clear plan of working out and studying while my daughter is at school and in bed. It means my poor wife will see very little of me but both academically and personally it will be worth it come July.
The mighty Fred West Ham secured their second win in a row on Sunday and I felt fitter than I have in ages playing. For once, I wasn’t out of breath. I mean, sure I’m slow but I’ve never been anything but…besides my footballing mantra is: “If you have to run on a football pitch, you started in the wrong place.” Both myself and Jordan played our part in defeating a top team. Perhaps 2FatMenBlog should offer itself as a sponsor for the team?
Anyway, time to go and dissertate some more. Hoping to bring news of another loss next week, the sweet 16(Stone) is fast approaching!
