Well people, here we are: 2013 is upon us. It’s the time of year when everyone makes resolutions about what they eat, how much they drink, quitting smoking and most of them fail by mid-February. In my view, it shouldn’t be have to be 1st January to inspire people to change. That’s why, out of spite for tradition, I decided to have a feast of crap food on New Year’s Day and start ‘the new me’ today (2nd Jan).

I know we started the 2FatMen blog last summer (with varying degrees of success) but it all got a bit sporadic as the usual excuses came to the fore, with “We’re too busy” being the main one. While Jordan is a teacher and I’m in my 3rd year of a Radiography degree does mean that we have a heavy workload, it shouldn’t be an excuse to be unhealthy. So (and I’ve said this TOO many times recently) this is start!

I have a graduation in the summer that I want to be slim for because any recent photos of me have been embarrassing.
I’ll be heading to the gym today & giving the treadmill a pounding. It is also my plan to go another twice this week and have a loss to report next week. I’m thinking of adding a photo diary of my progress & what I’m eating etc.
