Well well well. It has been a long time hasn’t it? Since I last wrote, all my good work has gone backwards…and then some! I was doing so well and had lost 1st before my venture into American wrestling resulted in me breaking my wrist (my trapezoid if you must know) and leaving me in plaster for four weeks. During that period I developed an obsession with Kit-Kats and Maltesers!!!! I grew into a routine of telling myself that I couldn’t do any exercise because my cast would get too sweaty, or some other such bollox that meant I didn’t do anything remotely healthy.
I have now been out of plaster for three weeks and in that time I have been to the gym about twice and have yet to go out for a run. I am in desperate need of a kick up the backside and will gladly accept it from anyone! I have, however, been enjoying a rich vein of form for my beloved Fred West Ham as of late: finding the back of the net regularly (#JockScoresGoals) and seem to be able to run around every Sunday without too many side effects the following day.
I have a busy couple of months coming up with university work and clinical placement but I will be making sure I get myself to the gym and out for a few runs to help stave off the inevitable Christmas Binge that is looming.
So, as I appear to be starting all over again, I have a new target: I want to be 13st 7lbs by the time I graduate in July next year…that’s a total of about 5st. In that time I have the 40+ mile Keswick to Barrow to get training for too.
The 2FatMen are back in training…
